Carl and Susan Stetler of York celebrated their 50th anniversary on May 18 with a small party for family and friends, hosted by their daughters. A trip to Alaska is planned for this summer.
They were married on May 3, 1969, at St. Thomas United Church of Christ (UCC) in Reading by the Rev. Howard Paine.
Mr. and Mrs. Stetler are the parents of Heather Smith of Dover and Stacey Witalec of Mechanicsburg. They have five grandchildren.
Mr. Stetler is retired from Met-Ed of York. Mrs. Stetler is retired from Dover Area School District.
Mr. and Mrs. Stetler attend Faith UCC in York.
