Alvernia University, Reading, held its annual honors convocation on April 14 at the Physical Education Center.

Ashlynn Danner of Birdsboro earned the Excellence in Marketing. Maureen Spires of Birdsboro received the Master of Science in Nursing Spirit of Saint Francis Award. Gwendalyn Bauer of Honey Brook earned the Alvernian Award for Editorial Leadership. Benjamin Koons of Morgantown received the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award.
