Elizabethtown Community Housing and Outreach Services (ECHOS) and PennState Health are partnering to present a workshop on sun safety. The event will be held on Wednesday, June 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Community Place on Washington, 61 E. Washington St., Elizabethtown.
Interested individuals are encouraged to stop by the tent at Community Place for free sun protection tips and a Dermascan screening. This workshop will also provide individuals an opportunity to meet staff from ECHOS and PennState Health Medical Group.
The workshop is part of #HealthEtown, an initiative designed to assist the community in developing healthy habits, leading to a healthy lifestyle. The initiative supports monthly workshops presented on various topics, including nutrition, health and wellness, diabetes, and obesity.
