Senior Commons at Powder Mill, located at 1775 Powder Mill Road, York, will host a program about the importance of eye health on Thursday, July 11, at 2 p.m.
Guest speaker Alexander Szeles II, D.O. from the Ophthalmology Associates of York, will discuss eye diseases that can reduce vision and even cause blindness, including glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Dr. Szeles will also explain how diabetes can complicate eye health. The program will discuss steps that individuals can take to reduce their risk of severe eye diseases.
