The Conestoga Valley School Board recently appointed Sarah Schaefer to be the assistant to the superintendent for pupil services. This new position is responsible for programs that enable students to fully take advantage of their educational opportunities by eliminating problems that prevent or interfere with students' learning as much as possible.
Critical areas include maintaining the student accounting system; overseeing the psychological, guidance, school health and social casework services; developing and administering special education budgets; and more.
