The Elizabethtown/Mount Joy Christian Women's Connection invites area ladies to its "Let Freedom Glow" brunch, which will be held on Thursday, July 11, at 9:30 a.m. at The Gathering Place, 6 Pine St., Mount Joy. The set price is inclusive.
Vocalist Maya Talarico from Elizabethtown will provide special music.
The feature, Sandy Bartz from Hudson, Ohio, will give a presentation on lighthouses. Additionally, she will speak on "A Lighthouse Lover's View." She is a teacher, an antique dealer, and a breast cancer survivor. She compares lighthouse sites or hazardous locations to her personal trials.
Reservations for the brunch must be made by Friday, July 5, by calling Judy at 717-367-3076, Sandy at 717-367-5140, or Karen at 717-397-8987. Reservations not canceled by Tuesday, July 9, must be honored.
