Penn State Extension invites the public to its annual Flower Trial Field Day on Thursday, July 25, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m at Southeast Agricultural Research and Extension Center, 1446 Auction Road, Manheim. This event will showcase the Penn State Flower Trial network. Program topics will be aphids, mites and thrips control; staying safe and staying legal when using crop protectant chemistries in the greenhouse; and opportunities to meet plant breeders.
A registration cost per person has been set, with a discount if registered by Friday, July 19. Registration is available at http://extension.psu.edu/flower-trials-field-day or by calling the Central Registration Center at 877-345-0691 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Walk-ins will also be accepted at the event.
