Foundation Will Award Grants

The Pennsylvania National Horse Show Foundation has announced that grant applications are now available at http://www.PAnational.org. The foundation will accept grant applications through Saturday, Aug. 31. The grants will be awarded in January 2020.

Last year's recipients included 24 facilities serving therapeutic riders and equine rescue. Those facilities are Beyond Wishes Therapeutic Riding Program, Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center, Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association, Chasing Rainbows, Days End Farm Horse Rescue, Equi-librium Therapeutic Horsemanship, Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation, February Star Sanctuary, GallopNYC Therapeutic Horsemanship, Graceful Acres, Greystone Manor Therapeutic Riding Center, Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy, Horse Power Farm, Horses & Horizons Therapeutic Learning Center, Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Leg Up Farm, Mane Stream Therapeutic Riding, Manito Life Center, Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy, Prairie Fire Farms Foundation Inc., Safe Haven Equine Rescue, Sebastian Riding Association and Slippery Rock University/Storm Harbor. Established in 1999, the Pennsylvania National Horse Show Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, provides support for therapeutic riding and equine rescue programs. The foundation makes grants exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to acquaint, teach and train the public in therapeutic equestrian endeavors and to support equine rescue efforts.
