Straub-Bixler

The marriage of Kayla Bixler and Cody Straub took place June 14 at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens in Gordonville. The Rev. Dr. John A. Laughlin Sr. officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Eric Bixler of Holtwood and Lisa Monyer of Neffsville. She graduated from Penn Manor High School in 2012 and Millersville University in 2016. She attends Penn State University. She is employed by Eastern Lancaster County School District in New Holland.

The groom is the son of Chris and Erika Straub of Lancaster. He graduated from Penn Manor High School in 2012, Penn State University in 2015, and Millersville University in 2017. He is employed by Eastern Lancaster County School District in New Holland.

The maid of honor was Veronica Roux of Freehold, N.J. Bridesmaids were Angela Moore of Newton, Mass., sister of the bride; Brandi Bixler of Mohnton, sister of the bride; Madison Straub of Lancaster, sister of the groom; Kym Kipphorn of Holtwood; Amy Minney of Lititz; Emily McCoy of Lititz; and Eryn McCoy of Lititz. The flower girl was Breaze Bixler of Mohnton, niece of the bride.

Serving as best man was Ryan Martzall of Lancaster. Groomsmen were Steven Guidos of Bergen, Norway; Kyle Straub of Philadelphia, brother of the groom; Brad Snyder of Lancaster; RJ Hays of Bedford; and Shawn Stewart of Clymer. The ring bearers were Axel White of Mohnton and Braxton White of Mohnton, nephews of the bride.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a simple, A-line gown with cross-back straps and a beaded belt. She carried a bouquet of roses and peonies.

Providing music for the ceremony was R Lawrence DJ.

The reception was held at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens.

The couple resides in East Earl.
