The US Navy Club of Lancaster County Ship 166 and Lititz Springs VFW Post 1463 will hold a sock hop on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster.
Melodies by Magenta will play '50s music. The event will also feature gift basket giveaway drawings and prizes, including a prize for the best-dressed attendee.
Tickets will include admission, food, and beverages. Only 300 tickets are available. Refreshments have been donated for this event. Proceeds of the event will benefit Wounded Warriors, Wreaths Across America, food banks and other veterans' programs.
