New Resurrection Catholic School principal Jeffrey Hughes will hold Meet the Principal sessions on Wednesday, July 31, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria and on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 7:15 p.m. at San Juan Bautista Church following the 6:30 p.m. Mass. The school is located at 521 E. Orange St., Lancaster, and San Juan Bautista Church is located at 425 S. Duke St., Lancaster.
Hughes recently retired as superintendent of South Eastern School District in York County and previously served as principal of Manheim Central High School from 2010 to 2017. He says that though he has spent 32 years in public education, he has has always felt called to work in a small Catholic school.
All are invited. Attendees will have opportunities to ask questions.
