A demonstration-style class called "Cooking With Hard Cider - Steamed Mussels" will be offered at North Star Orchard, 3232 Limestone Road, Cochranville, on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The class is co-hosted by Dressler Estate.
Attendees will learn how the minerality of mussels can be paired with the acidity of hard cider. Attendees may taste the mussels and a few beverages, and they may take home a copy of the recipe. Bottles of cider will be available to purchase.
Olga Dressler will be the instructor. Brian and Olga Dressler are the husband-and-wife team behind Dressler Estate. The Dresslers' ciders have been recognized in Best of the Main Line, County Lines Magazine and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
