St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 27 E. Main St., Mount Joy, will host its second church and community picnic on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. on the front lawn of the church. In the case of rain, the event will be moved indoors.
Food, including hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, fresh fruit, snow cones, and beverages, will be available from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Organized games for children will take place from 4:30 to 4:50 p.m. A ventriloquist program by Marian and Friends will begin at 5:30 p.m. Following the program, there will be bingo. The event is free and open to the public.
