The 28th annual Ben and Tim Day will take place on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Hershey High School (HHS), 550 Homestead Road, Hershey. A 5K run will begin at 9 a.m., and a 1-mile fun run/walk will start at 10 a.m.
A prerace spaghetti dinner and motivational talk will take place on Friday, Aug. 23, in the cafeteria at HHS from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The motivational talk will be "Strategies for a Great Race" by Ann Zaprazny of Great Sports Minds.
Proceeds will benefit the Ben Yupcavage and Tim Russell Memorial Scholarship Funds, as well as local charities and organizations that benefit students.
