Centerville Middle School student …ilis' DiIorio was named the winner of the 2019 School Nutrition Association of Pennsylvania (SNAPA) essay content in the judging category for fifth- through eighth-graders. She presented her award-winning essay at the 2019 SNAPA Annual Conference President's Reception and Dinner on July 29 in Hershey.
The essay contest topic focused on why school meals are an important part of the school day and asked students to describe how receiving school meals has had an impact on their education. For her essay, …ilis' was awarded an overnight stay at the Hershey Lodge and four tickets to Hersheypark.
