Stewartstown Senior Center, 26 S. Main St., Stewartstown, will offer watercolor painting classes on Tuesdays from Sept. 3 to Oct. 22. The beginner class will run from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m., and the intermediate class will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Attendees will learn the basics of watercolor techniques and put them into practice in landscapes. Participants will learn how to compose a painting and how to paint trees, the sky, water, rocks, grasses, and other elements.
The classes are open to the public. There is a fee, which include supplies, with the exception of a pencil and sketch pad. For more information, readers may call the senior center at 717-993-3488.
