Lifetree Cafe, located at Emmaus Road Cafe, 1886 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, will discuss people's perceptions of true beauty on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. Lifetree Cafe is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual setting.
The program is titled "True Beauty: Is It Really Only Skin Deep?" and features a filmed interview with MeLisa Mounsey, a woman who survived an incident that burned over 95 percent of her body. She explains the challenges she has faced in learning to accept herself and how the incident has shaped her view of beauty.
