Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 2523 Pine Grove Road, York, will celebrate its 150th anniversary at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8. Following the service, a time of fellowship will take place with music performed by Simple Tenants from Church of the Open Door, York.
The church will recognize the former pastors, who will each speak of the time they spent with the Pine Grove congregation. The Revs. Richard A. Noll, Joel N. Coleman, and S. Philip Covert will be present. Written memoirs will be presented from the Revs. Ralph Wright, Ralph H. Johnson, and Robert A. Vizthum.
