Registration for the Fall Program Guide session is open, with the session set for Aug. 26 to Sunday, Dec. 29. Swim Session 1 will be held from Monday, Sept. 16, to Sunday, Nov. 3, and registration will end on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Swim Session II is set for Monday, Nov. 4, through Sunday, Dec. 22; member registration will open on Tuesday, Oct. 22, with open registration starting on Friday, Oct. 25, and registration ending on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
The gymnasium will be closed for floor cleaning through Friday, Aug. 30, and the auditorium will be closed through Sept. 11 due to renovations. The pool will be closed for annual cleaning from Sunday, Sept. 1, through Monday, Sept. 9. The studio will be closed for refinishing from Thursday, Sept. 12, through Monday, Sept. 16.
The public is invited to the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony of the York JCC School for the Early Years Gan Rimon Campus on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 5:30 p.m.
Individuals are invited to join the Level Up challenge from Wednesday, Oct. 2, to Tuesday, Dec. 3. The purpose of the nine-week program is to motivate participants to meet or exceed their fitness goals by awarding points each time they complete a small group training class, group fitness class, or personal training session. The York JCC offers Parkinson's movement programming, as well. The classes are specifically designed to work with those affected by movement disorders. To schedule a free screening, readers may contact Hayes.
