Lifetree Cafe Plans Program

Sep 15, 2019 - 9:15 am

Lifetree Cafe will explore the cause, meaning, and importance of dreams and nightmares on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 9 a.m. and on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 2173 Stoverstown Road, Spring Grove. Lifetree Cafe is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual setting.

The program, titled "Dreams and Nightmares: The Science Behind the Stories of Your Mind," will feature a filmed interview with Dr. William Moorcroft, author of "Understanding Sleep and Dreaming." Moorcroft explains that sleep is critical for brains to function and dreams are a way for the mind to organize and process information. He also discusses the cause of recurring dreams and nightmares.

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. For details on the program, readers may contact Chip Hoover at 717-792-3153 or chip08@aol.com.
