The Musselman Vesta Iron Furnace Center, 26 Furnace Road, Marietta, will host a program on insects and spiders on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 to 11 a.m. The program is part the Vesta Naturalist Program series.
Attendees will learn about numerous varieties of insects and spiders, where they live, and how some are considered pests while others are viewed as beneficial. The presenter will explain the characteristics of insects and spiders as well as the benefits provided by each. Options will include exploration walks to search for insects and spiders, insect eating, and insect dissections.
