Conservation Group Appoints Outreach Coordinator

Dana Adams of Delta is the newly appointed outreach coordinator for the Conservation Society of York County (CSYC), which owns historical properties throughout York County, including the Indian Steps Museum. CSYC president Pam Kilgore made the announcement of Adams' selection on behalf of the CSYC board.

Adams has knowledge and experience as a start-up business owner, a team leader in the private-sector large corporate setting and a corporate account manager. Her background includes collaboration for both members and provider partners in the health care service industry. CSYC executive director Bob Bair said Adams will play a key role in handling community relations, promotional activities, fundraising, working with volunteers and sharing York County history.

According to Bair, the CSYC was organized in 1922, and in addition to owning and operating the Indian Steps Museum, CSYC maintains the Ulmer-Root-Haines Memorial Park and trail, the Bonham Wake-Robbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Wills one-room schoolhouse and the historic Codorus Furnace, all located in York County.

Adams may be contacted at CSYCOutreach@yahoo.com or 717-862-8202.
