A seminar on the spotted lanternfly will take place on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Halifax Area Ambulance and Rescue Center, 31 Bunker Hill Road, Halifax. The presentation about the invasive insect will be given by the Penn State Extension Group from the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences, along with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
Information will include the dangers and concerns of the spotted lanternfly across the Commonwealth, as well as tips on how to get rid of this insect. There will also be a question-and-answer session to finish off the seminar.
