CPL Will Hold Open House

Sep 14, 2019 - 12:00 pm

Canine Partners for Life (CPL) will hold its annual open house and cow bingo on Saturday, Sept. 14, from noon to 4 p.m. at the CPL facility, 334 Faggs Manor Road, Cochranville.

Visitors may learn about CPL's mission through various activities. They may enjoy a service dog demonstration, take tours of the kennel, learn about volunteer opportunities, get a kiss from a puppy at a booth, speak with service and companion dog recipients, watch puppy races, learn how mobility harnesses are made, and more. For cow bingo, the cow will be released at 3 p.m. Winners need not be present.

Along with visiting mission-centered booths and activities, attendees may shop from more than 15 vendors, enjoy live music, and play games in the children's area. Food trucks will be on-site, as will beverage vendors such as Bog Turtle Brewery, Chaddsford Winery, and Victory Brewing Company.

The event will be held rain or shine. Parking is available at Manor Presbyterian Church, 505 Street Road, Cochranville. Only handicapped-accessible parking is available at CPL. Personal pets are not permitted.

All event proceeds will benefit CPL's mission. To learn more, readers may visit https://k94life.org/events/72/open-house-cow-bingo/ or search for "Canine Partners for Life" on Facebook.
