Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2121 Roosevelt Ave., York, will host its annual community yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 28, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. It will be held rain or shine, with a number of people manning different tables.
The church will also host Friendship Sunday on Sept. 29. Worship will begin at 11 a.m., and a picnic will immediately follow. There will be chicken, pasta salad, hot dogs and beverages, as well as cakes for a cake walk.
