Classical Conversations has a new homeschool program starting up in Lebanon this fall.
The Foundations Program is for children ages 4 through sixth grade. New to the Lebanon campus this year is the Essentials Program, which includes math drill and an intensive writing and grammar seminar for students ages 9 through 12 utilizing the Institute for Excellence in Writing curriculum.
The Lebanon community will meet on Thursdays at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, located at 2327 Lehman St., Lebanon.
Classical Conversations is a worldwide classical, Christian homeschool organization that seeks to equip parents and students to use the classical tools of learning to hone students' academic skills of recitation, logical thinking, and persuasive rhetoric. Trained tutors lead weekly classes in memorization and review (often through music and movement), hands-on fine arts, hands-on science, and student presentations.
