The Lancaster-Lebanon Transportation Association has planned the 44th annual School Bus Road-E-O for Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Cocalico School District in Denver.
Contestant registration will be at 7:15 a.m., and the competition will begin at 8:30 a.m. All contestants will begin by taking a written knowledge test. They will then proceed to the driving course, where they will maneuver their bus through a 10-event obstacle course. The competition will conclude at approximately 11:30 a.m.
The Road-E-O is intended to promote and encourage school bus safety among school bus drivers in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. The event determines the local representative to the state safety competition, which will be held in State College in June 2020.
