The Londonderry Township Historical Committee invites the public to a Stargazers event on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Londonderry Township Building, 103 Daleville Road, Cochranville.
Before viewing the planets through telescopes and the naked eye, Kevin Witman will give a brief "Star Talk" about the planets that the group will be viewing. Telescopes will be set up in the parking lot.
Community members are welcome to bring their own telescopes and/or binoculars for viewing.
The event promises to be an educational and fun evening for all and a chance to meet other neighbors from the area. Attendees should bring lawn chairs for seating.
