Elverson Antique Show Set

Oct 26, 2019 -

The Elverson Antique Show, featuring items such as china, stoneware, fraktur, holiday decor, baskets, quilts, furniture and weathervanes, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Twin Valley High School (TVHS), 4897 N. Twin Valley Road, Elverson.

Proceeds from ticket sales and dealer registration fees will benefit the TVHS girls' lacrosse team. Students and their parents will provide assistance to the dealers, help with setup and run the food stand at the event.

The event is open to experienced shoppers, as well as those who are just looking for unique decor for their homes. Homeowners will find items such as folk art, country antiques and unusual antique smalls.

The show will include more than 40 dealers from Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, New Hampshire and Virginia. The dealers will set up tables of their wares in the TVHS gymnasium.

The antique show started in 1969 as a fundraiser for the Elverson Fire Company, which was torn down when the fire company merged with Morgantown Fire Company to form the Twin Valley Fire Company. Two antique shows are held annually at TVHS, with the spring event in March and the fall event in November.

An admission fee will be collected at the door.
