The Columbia Lions Club and Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce, sponsors of the Thunder on the River car show, donated $3,000 to two local nonprofits.
Susquehanna Heritage received a $1,000 donation for an environmental summer camp called Susq Camp.
Columbia Creative Factory received a $2,000 donation. Columbia Creative Factory provides arts programs in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Lancaster County, Columbia Clubhouse. The donation will also help the organization purchase a building at 247 Locust St., Columbia.
