Library Sets Fall Book Sale

Middletown Public Library, 20 N. Catherine St., Middletown, will hold its fall book sale. The sale will feature more than 25,000 items, with book options including hardcover and paperback fiction, classics, children's books, young adult books, nonfiction, Christmas books, large print books, and audiobooks. Most collections will be sorted by author. The sale will also include DVDs, CDs, jigsaw puzzles and board games.

A preview sale will take place on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 4 to 8 p.m. There is a nominal admission fee. The sale will also be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2; from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, and Tuesday, Nov. 5; from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6; and from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7. On Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., participants may fill a bag for a nominal fee, and there wil be a bake sale. Participants may fill a bag for a lower nominal fee from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11; Tuesday, Nov. 12; and Thursday, Nov. 14, and the per-bag fee will be reduced again from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
