The city of Coatesville has been approved for $100,000 in funding to assist with revitalization efforts in Palmer Park. The funding will help to improve and repair aspects of the park so the area can continue to be enjoyed by the community for years to come. The funding was approved and awarded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority.
Palmer Park is located on 1.1 acres of land between the northeast ends of Merchant and Chestnut streets. The park hosts a swimming pool, a children's play area, a pavilion, and two barbecue grills for community use.
