The Vietnam Veterans of America and Associates Chapter 1008 of Lancaster will hold a wreath laying and ceremony in honor of Veterans Day on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, South Queen Street, Lancaster, at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The event will be held rain or shine.
The memorial, which is maintained by the chapter, was erected in the early 1980s in honor of Lancaster County Vietnam veterans who gave their lives in service to their country. Memories of the soldiers honored on the memorial will be shared. Family and friends are welcome to participate.
