The Adamstown Area Library has announced that Restaurant Week will continue through Friday, Nov. 8. It began on Nov. 4. Participating restaurants will donate a percentage of sales to the library's Room to Grow Capital Campaign, which will help to pay the costs of the library's new building. This marks the fourth year that local business owners and the library have collaborated to raise funds for the library during Restaurant Week.
The promotion will apply to the entire menu at Park Place Diner, 2270 N. Reading Road, Denver, from 4 to 10 p.m.; the entire menu at Two Cousins, 1215 N. Reading Road, Stevens, during all open hours; a special menu at Kountry Korner Drive-In, 610 W. Route 897, Reinholds, during all business hours; a special menu at Courtyard Cafe on Main, 349 Main St., Denver, during all open hours; and the entire menu at The Village Haus, 2 N. Market St., Reinholds, during all business hours. Other restaurants may be added to this list.
Adamstown Area Library serves more than 30,000 residents in Adamstown, Brecknock, Denver, East Cocalico and West Cocalico townships. Construction on the new library is scheduled to begin in November, with an estimated completion date in spring 2020. The new library will have three times the square footage of the current building. All funds from Restaurant Week will go to the Room to Grow Capital Campaign.
