Senior Center Sets Activities

Stewartstown Senior Center, 26 S. Main St., Stewartstown, will offer a variety of programs and activities to local seniors. For more details, readers may call the center at 717-993-3488.

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, aerobics will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Mary Ellen will be available to assist with ceramics, and table games and Wii bowling will be available throughout the day. The bridge club will meet in the afternoon.

On Thursday, Nov. 14, Barb's aerobics class will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A bus trip to Green Grove Family Gathering in Greencastle will leave at 8:45 a.m. Blood pressure and weight checks will be available in the morning, and Paulette will provide massages for a set fee to those who preregister. Table and Wii games will be available throughout the day. Kings in the Corner will start at 9:30 a.m. The chair yoga class will begin at 10:30 a.m. An acrylic art class will meet at noon. Hand and Foot will also begin at noon, with more players sought.

On Friday, Nov. 15, Barb's aerobics class will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. There will be a Driver Refresher course from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, with a Nov. 13 registration deadline. Weis Pharmacy representatives will be on hand to give flu shots to those who have not received one. A variety of table games will be available throughout the day. Indoor bocce ball will be played in the morning. Bingo will be played after lunch.

On Monday, Nov. 18, aerobics will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The "breakfast gang" will meet at the New Freedom Restaurant for food and fellowship. Various table games will be available throughout the day. The board of directors will meet at 3 p.m. Christmas candy fundraiser orders are due.

On Tuesday, Nov. 19, aerobics will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Willy will teach her craft class at 9:30 a.m. The beginner watercolor class will meet at 9:15 a.m., with the intermediate class at 12:30 p.m. A representative from the veterans office will be available by appointment from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pinochle players will meet at noon. Table games will be available throughout the day, with Wii bowling in the morning.
