Towne Club of Lancaster has posted several upcoming events. Guests are welcome to all events.
A club meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 1 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 10 Delp Road, Lancaster. Holly and Joe Fortner will entertain with vocal and guitar selections. She is a Lancaster native, and they are attorneys living in Connecticut.
The club recently completed its fall fundraiser at Meadia Heights Golf Club, with proceeds benefiting the club's scholarship fund for Lancaster County students who plan to attend vocational schools. Scholarship applications are now being received, and information is available from Judy George at 717-808-5897.
Club members recently entertained Long Community residents with refreshments and a bingo party, and on Monday, Nov. 25, the club will join with Lancaster County Women's Club members at a prayer breakfast in Denver. Reservations for the breakfast can be made by calling Dottie Grove at 717-509-2148.
