Museum Lecture To Highlight Gettysburg

The National Civil War Museum, 1 Lincoln Circle at Reservoir Park, Harrisburg, will continue its Lessons in History Lecture Series on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Retired Col. Matt Spruill, U.S. Army, will present "Critical Decisions at Gettysburg," during which he will explain how the campaign and Battle of Gettysburg developed as a result of 20 critical decisions. Spruill is the co-editor of the University of Tennessee Press's new series "Command Decisions in America's Civil War." His latest books are "Decisions at Stones River," "Decisions at Second Manassas," "Guide to the Battle of Chickamauga," and "Decisions at Gettysburg." His next book is slated to be "Decisions of the Seven Days."
