Lower Dauphin High School (LDHS), 201 S. Hanover St., Hummelstown, will present its annual play, "Silver Belles," at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, through Saturday, Nov. 23. Written by L.M. Burke, the story follows the ladies who live at Silver Meadows Retirement Home and are preparing for what may be their last Christmas together. The owner of Silver Meadows has sold the home to a local mogul who wants to convert Silver Meadows into a luxury hotel.
The cast features senior Matt Little as Nick, senior Emma McQuinn as Kate, junior Dale Sanders as Megan, sophomore Hudson Millar as Steve, and the Silver Belles with senior Olivia Meyers as Clara, senior Madi Miduri as Doris, sophomore Alicia Jones as Gertie, sophomore Sofia Walsh as Vivienne, sophomore Christianna Harchuska as Harriet, and sophomore Morgan Earley as Pearl. Other seniors include Mauricette Musser, Sini Rhoades, crew member Ethan Elicker, and tech team member Tad Hummer.
