Twisted Pine will present a Susquehanna Folk Music Society (SFMS) concert on Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of York, 925 S. George St., York.
The band is known for its songwriting, harmonies, and charismatic appeal. Band members include fiddler and vocalist Kathleen Parker, mandolinist Dan Bui, and bassist Chris Sarton. Twisted Pine's sound and incorporates indie pop to an acoustic instrumental setting.
The group was named winner of the 2018 Boston Music Award's Americana Artist of the Year and was selected as one of Improper Bostonian's Top 10 Local Acts on the Rise.
Twisted Pine released its eponymous debut album of original music in 2017, followed by "Dreams," a 2018 EP of covers.
