Penn State Extension will host two cooking classes as part of its "Let's Cook With Penn State Extension" series. They will be held at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster. Registration and fees apply.
"Let's Cook Vegetarian" will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. This hands-on cooking class will explore different ways to eat a balanced, plant-based diet and will provide tips on how to make traditional entrees the vegetarian way. "Let's Cook Healthy With Diabetes" will be held on Thursday, Dec. 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants will increase their knowledge of healthy food choices to help prevent or manage diabetes.
