"Share the Wealth: Raising the Bar for Local Arts" will be a free professional development workshop for artists and community organizers. Sponsored by South Central PaARTners at Millersville University, it will be held at The Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster, on Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 9 a.m to 1 p.m.
Designed to bring greater equality and access to marginalized artists, this workshop will be led by four artists with strong ties to the region who have also spent considerable time working in large, urban areas. Bringing the wealth of knowledge and experience they have acquired through this wider exposure, they will offer insights and strategies for informing local arts in new ways.
