Columbia Historic Preservation Society, 21 N. Second St., Columbia, will host the annual Ed King Memorial Model Train Open House from 1 to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through Jan. 5, 2020. Santa Claus will visit on Sundays, Dec. 15 and 22, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Visitors may view the Columbia and Susquehanna Model Railroad display, featuring more than 1,800 square feet of HO model train scenery and tracking. The lower level will host the Lower Susquehanna Valley Modular Railroaders' O-gauge model railroad, featuring a variety of attractions. The two railroading groups have partnered for the event for six years.
Admission is free, and donations will be accepted.
