Patricia Woodard will present "Breaking News: Freedom Is Ours Now" at the Christian Science Church, 200 W. Lemon St., Lancaster, on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m.
Woodard will explore the practicality in today's world of Jesus' life and works as recorded in the Bible and as discussed in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," written by Mary Baker Eddy, founder of the Christian Science movement.
For many years, Woodard has been a Christian Science practitioner. Woodard now resides in Dallas, Texas, where she has been active in taking the healing ministry to those in the prison system.
