The Milanof-Schock Library, 1184 Anderson Ferry Road, Mount Joy, will hold two special events on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Get Crafty with Carrie, a craft program for teenagers, will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Teenagers and tweens will have the opportunity to create personal watercolor bookmarks with black ink embellishments. Registration is required by calling the library at 717-653-1510 or signing up on the website's calendar page. Those who register but cannot attend are asked to inform the library.
The second annual Youth Art Walk has been set from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the library. It will be held in conjunction with the Festival of the Arts, taking place in downtown Mount Joy. Students from Donegal High School and Donegal Junior High School will have pieces on display, and the high school artists will be present to discuss their works. There will also be live music and light refreshments.
