Zimmerman Center for Heritage, 1706 Long Level Road, Wrightsville, will host a "Susquehanna Earth, Water and Sky" series of lectures. York County Astronomical Society founding member Gregory Markowski's "When the Stars Spoke" on Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. will explore what the area's ancient American Indian people saw in the sky and how it affected their lives. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
York County geologist Jeri Jones will visit the center on Wednesday, March 11, for "Cool Geology on the Northwest Trail," and retired PPL land manager and local history buff Mark Arbogast will show how the river was transformed in "Damming the River at Safe Harbor" on Wednesday, April 8.
