Elizabethtown Community Housing & Outreach Services (ECHOS) was a beneficiary of LCBC's 2019 Be Rich Campaign, which focused on highlighting and supporting the work of local community agencies. Through the generosity of LCBC's congregation, ECHOS was awarded $20,000 to renovate a newly purchased house in Marietta, part of a new program for ECHOS called Permanent Supportive Housing. The program offers long-term support and intensive case management for individuals in crisis.
ECHOS' participation in this campaign helped to educate the community on the agency's needs and volunteer opportunities. The efforts of LCBC's Be Rich team and members of the congregation resulted in supplies for the shelter and the office and volunteer time in support of the ECHOS mission.
