Eastern York Recreation Authority, 2425 Craley Road, Wrightsville, will offer "Attack - Prevent Being Victimized" on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Lower Windsor Township Training Room. The seminar will teach easy-to-understand methods individuals can use to increase awareness and prevent criminal confrontation. Attendees will get the tools needed to develop their own personal safety strategy. Topics will include crime statistics, drug-related crime, attack at places of transition, cellphone distraction, pressure points, technology security, and self-defense techniques. The program is open to adults, those age 18 and older. Fees vary based on residency.
