The York County commissioners recently appointed John Klinedinst to the board of the York County Solid Waste Authority. Board members are appointed by the county commissioners to a five-year term.
Klinedinst serves as chief administrative officer for C.S. Davidson Inc. He is also a member of the senior leadership team and board of directors for the company.
Klinedinst is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Water Works Association. His community and volunteer activities include serving as a board member on the Penn State York Advisory Board, a Real Estate Portfolio Committee member for Crispus Attucks, a member of Sertoma Club of York and Rotary Club of York, a member of the Governance/Nominating Committee and Advisory Board for the Literacy Council of York County, a board member and the chair of the Development Committee for York Business Improvement District Authority Board/Main Street York/Downtown Inc, a member of the Provider Network/Population Health Services Board, a Finance Committee and Program Rate Committee member for WellSpan, a member of the York City Parks Conservancy Board, and a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board and the chair of the Property Committee for the Salvation Army. Klinedinst holds a Bachelor of Science in water resources technology from The Pennsylvania State University Capital Campus. He resides in Lower Windsor Township.
