Dallastown Performing Arts Club will host its winter dinner theater on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria at Dallastown Area High School, 700 New School Lane.
The production will be "Antigone Now" by Melissa Cooper. In the midst of a bombed-out city still feeling the aftershocks of war, the rebellious and intense Antigone defies her uncle to bury her disgraced brother. This contemporary response to the Greek myth of Antigone brings modern prose to an ancient and universal story.
Tickets may be reserved at http://www.dahsdpac.booktix.com or by calling 717-244-4021, ext. 3120. Separate ticket prices have been set for adults, for senior citizens and students who present a valid ID, and for children age 12 and under.
A dessert bar will be open during the performance. Businesses and individuals interested in donating desserts are asked to contact Bethany Yuninger at bethany.yuninger@dallastown.net prior to Feb. 13. Businesses will be advertised as a thank-you. They may email a logo or preferred artwork to Yuninger.
