West York Area School District will celebrate diversity at its annual Cultural Fair on Thursday, March 19, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the cafeteria at West York Area Middle School, 1700 Bannister St., York. The evening will feature food and opportunities to learn about the many cultural backgrounds that are part of the West York community.
There is a nominal cost to attend per person; however, families that contribute a cultural dish to share will receive free admission. Students and their families are encouraged to create booths with food to share, cultural artifacts, and photos that represent their cultural heritage or a culture in which they are interested.
